This is the best method to create a manual connection for users who do not wish to set up Outlook Express for e-mail..

Click <Start> then <Run> to get this window..

Enter "rasphone -a" (Be sure to include the space)
Click OK

Select Dial-Up To Private Network
Click <Next>

Enter an Access Number
Click <Next>

Name the connection,
Click <Finish> and that's it...
